Clubs line up for Ounas

Still only 22 years old, Ounas can play on the right, left or as a support striker and was purchased from Girondins de Bordeaux for €10m in the summer of 2017.

He failed to get regular playing time under Maurizio Sarri or Carlo Ancelotti, leading many to expect a summer exit.

His profile has been raised considerably over the last few weeks, as Ounas made an impact on Algeria’s march to the Africa Cup of Nations Final, where they will face Senegal.

Ounas scored three goals in three AFCON games, including a brace against Tanzania, where he also provided an assist.

According to Estadio Deportivo, he wants to go elsewhere to play regularly, with Sevilla already said to be in negotiations.

Betis are also interested, while Olympique Marseille are ready to make an offer too, claimed Le10Sport.
