Crystal Palace crucial Premier League victory over Brentford 3-1

Brentford took an early lead thanks to a goal from Keane Lewis-Potter, but Olise quickly levelled with a beautiful volley. Palace took the lead with a goal from Eberechi Eze, and Olise's solo effort after the interval extended the lead. With the victory, Palace snaps an eight-game losing streak, while Brentford suffers their fifth straight league setback.

Lewis-Potter's close-range goal gave Brentford the lead after their spirited opening period. With a brilliant pass, Mathias Jensen sent his Danish colleague Mads Roerslev scrambling down the right, and Lewis-Potter, slipping, met an early ball into the area flush on the volley. Before the goal was given, the Video Assistant Referee (var) had to wait three and a half minutes to determine if Lewis- Potter was onside. Unfazed, Palace quickly drew even thanks to a strong performance by Olise, the game's most outstanding player.
