English Premier League: Chelsea Beat Crystal Palace 2-1

The visitors had the better of the first half before Chelsea equalized through Conor Gallagher's wonder strike. Graham Potter's men took the lead on the back of a curling shot by winger Christian Pulisic after a through-ball from teammate Conor Gallagher. Thiago Silva headed in a long cross from the left by defender Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after Jordan Ayew had been fouled. After a series of passes from midfield, Pulisic sent in a cross which was headed home by the Brazilian.

Earlier, Edouard had opened the scoring for Palace with a header, before Aubameyang leveled things up after a header from a cross by Silva. Patrick Vieira was sent off as Palace defender Nathaniel Clyne was injured after challenging Joao Silva and manager Patrick Vieira was sent off for reprimanding Kavanagh for not giving Silva a red card.
