Erik Lamela's first words as a Sevilla player

He signs for three seasons and will have the opportunity to play in the Champions League.

Erik Lamela, 29, arrives in the Andalusian capital after eight seasons at Tottenham, having played 284 games, scoring 37 goals and assisting 41 times. He started his professional career with River Plate, from where he was signed by Roma for 17 million euros and in 67 games he scored 21 goals. He has also been capped 41 times by the Argentine national team.

Erik Lamela, who has just signed for Sevilla, shared his first thoughts with the club's media outlet. In his first interview, the Argentine didn't shy away from his amazement at seeing the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium: "It's the first time that I've been here, I've never played here before. The stadium is incredible. I took some official photos there. I'm delighted to be here."
