European Super League leaves fans around the world outraged

European Super League received a worldwide outrage by fans as the League could very well threaten the core principles of the prized Champions league and the healthy competition it has maintained. The league has garnered the support of Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur with Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid from Spain and Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan from Italy.

While 3 more clubs would join in soon as well leaving room for five clubs to qualify for the 20 team tournament that would have two groups of 10 reach and would have a two-legged quarter- and semi-finals and with just a one-off final. The current view is it threatens UEFA and the clubs supporting the league could face domestic and European competition ban. The news hit the world right after the Champions League format was changed to a 36 team one.
