Finally, United officially announce Jadon Sancho

It had been common knowledge that an agreement had been reached between all parties, but now the move is official. The Red Devils announced the signing through their social media channels.

Jadon Sancho has officially been announced as Manchester United player. At long last. The English club had already reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the player, an offer which may rise to as much as 85 million euros.

Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc recognised just a few days ago that all the technicalities had been concluded in statements to newspaper 'Ruhr Nachrichten'. Thus, it was just a matter of time before United themselves confirmed the signing of the young England international.

The winger signed a five-year contract with those at Old Trafford until June 2026, which also features an option to extend it a further year if both the sporting directive and player himself see fit.
