According to reports, Fiorentina has approved the possible sale of Argentine winger Nico González, allowing interested teams to go forward. The Florence-based team, however, is sticking to its assessment of the player and is asking for €40 million in exchange for his services.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, González has drawn attention from Juventus and Atalanta, with each team purportedly making an offer of €30 million. These offers, however, fall short of Fiorentina's asking price, opening the door for possible discussions. González himself doesn't seem to be ruling out a transfer to Atalanta, although he does seem to prefer joining Juventus. The status of Atalanta's midfield player Teun Koopmeiners may determine whether or not the club is still interested in the scenario. For Atalanta, the ideal scenario would be to retain Koopmeiners while also securing González.
