Florian Lejeune, Joselu scored to help Alaves to safety

Alaves’ Florian Lejeune has been great this season despite the club’s relegation status and rescued the team once again in the La Liga match to pull them closer to safety. Former Newcastle striker Joselu is in top form as well and scored a goal with an assist as well to help Alaves. They are now five points clear of relegation and sixth from the bottom all thanks to Joselu and Florian Lejeune.

The Newcastle player came off the bench in 2020 and in his loan spell with the La Liga side has started 32 games. Joselu on the other hand scored his 10th goal this season one less than last season. And Deportivo Alavés beat Elche by 2-0 and Elche remains 19th on the table and a few points away from safety.
