Eintracht Frankfurt continued to climb the table under their new coach Oliver Glasner, with a 2-0 triumph against the third-place SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga. It was Freiburg’s first defeat in the new stadium and overall their second loss after the 2-1 loss against leader Bayern Munich. Jesper Lindström and Filip Kostic hit first-half goals to hand Frankfurt an early lead and the team grabbed their third back-to-back win across all competitions.
