Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles out of World Cup with knee injuries

'Globoesporte SP' reports that Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles will miss the rest of the World Cup in Qatar 2022. Both are reportedly suffering from knee injuries that will keep them out of Brazil's Round of 16 clash against South Korea and the remainder of the competition.

"Medical tests indicate that both will miss the remainder of the championship. Alex Telles may have to undergo surgery, he left the pitch in tears," reads the report.

'ESPN Brasil' adds that Gabriel Jesus has pain in his knee and will not be able to play again until January, when he is expected to return to the pitch with Arsenal.

'ESPN' confirmed on its official website that, following tests on Saturday morning, both players will not be able to recover in time for the remainder of the World Cup, which has only 15 days left.
