Jose Mourinho looks forward to revamping his squad this transfer season with Granit Xhaka being the first player to trade-off for. Roma and Arsenal are both in talks over Swiss footballer Xhaka’s transfer. Roma had made an earlier offer and was to set an offer of €15m which was rejected by Arsenal demanding as much as €20m. However, Xhaka is already in talks with Roma on a four-and-a-half-year contract worth €2.5m a season. The Swiss midfielder calls on the Gunners to cash in and let him go.
Arsenal is looking forward to Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves as Xhaka’s replacement. The Gunners are preparing a £35 million bid for the Portugal international, who has apparently told his Molineux teammates that he wants to leave. The 28-year old has made significant contributions by making 45 appearances.
