It has been a long time that Arsenal are looking for a game maker who can help the team put up some numbers on the score board. After a failing result with Martin Odegaard, Mikel Arteta is about to go all in for Leicester City’s James Maddison. According to the rumors, City wants £70 million in cash. Arteta has offered a player who is still anonymous, to drag the price lower for his side. Negotiations are still being carried on at a slower pace.
Maddison has proved his worth in the last season by scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in his 42 games for the foxes. He played an important 23 minutes in the Leicester vs Chelsea FA cup final which led the team to a win over the Blues. Arsenal is in a high need of a good midfielder and it seems that Arteta will do everything in his hands to grab Maddison from Leicester.
