Hoffenheim thrashes Cologne by 5-0

Cologne has been called back to earth after Hoffenheim takes them down by 5-0 in the recent Bundesliga fixture on Friday. Before the matchup Cologne was flying high at 6th place on the table but maintained a bad record on the conceding front with one goal each in every game, Hoffenheim took advantage of their weakness and nailed five goals in their goal whilst keeping their own sheet clean.

Togo striker Ihlas Bebou first nailed two goals at the 31st minute and then a backheel shot right after the break. Austria midfielder Christoph Baumgartner took the count to 3-0 and later on Dennis Geiger and defender Stefan Posch put the game out of reach for Cologne by kicking one each to take the team to eighth spot just one place behind Cologne.
