"I was used to Messi's jokes at Barca, but at Atleti we couldn't have a laugh"

In an interview with 'El Larguero' for 'Cadena SER', Luis Suarez reflected on his time at Atletico Madrid over the past two seasons. He will not play for the 'Rojiblancos' in the next campaign despite the player claiming that he would like to stay.

The player highlighted winning the La Liga title during his time at the Wanda Metropolitano. However, he made a curious comparison between the title success in Madrid and the times when he won the league with Barcelona.

Suarez admitted that he did not enjoy being crowned league champions at Atleti as much as he did at Barca: "I was lucky to win so many titles at Barca and it was fun. Here, it was tense, training sessions were nervy, so were the matches...".
