Ibrahimovic returns to lead Milan to 2-0 victory over Torino

AC Milan extended their lead with an easy 2-0 win over Torino and celebrated the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to form after being placed out of play for a while due to injury. Rafael Leao and Franck Kessie struck the two goals for Milan who gained three more points in Serie A. They are now four points in the lead over Inter Milan, who will take on Roma soon.

Milan maintained their first-half lead created by Leao and Kessie’s penalty and the 39-year-old Swede came off the bench for five minutes during the night replacing Leao to ascertain their home victory. Torino missed out on scoring when Ricardo Rodriguez failed to capitalize on an opportunity. Milan though lost midfielder Sandro Tonali and Diaz to injury while Leao was booked for diving and would not be available in the next match. Torino is currently 19th on the table.
