The striker of AC Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off after the red card was shown to him for insulting the referee Fabio Maresca, and his side triumphed at Parma by 3-1 in Serie A on Saturday. Milan was at an ease with the 2-goal lead by half-time with the goals from Ante Rebic in the 8th minute and Franck Kessie in the 44th minute. But, by the hour mark, the task was difficult for Milan, as, Ibrahimovic was shown the red card at the 60th minute.
After the match, Ibrahimovic told the AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli that he didn’t insult or offended the referee. This was Ibrahimovic’s 8th red card in the top 5 leagues of Europe and the 1st one in Serie A. The strange thing or the point of concern was that the referee and Milan striker weren’t close to each other when he was dismissed.
