In EURO 2024, France and The Netherlands draw 

In the absence of captain Kylian Mbappe, wasteful France went to their first goalless draw at Euro 2024 against the Netherlands. Mbappe scored four of France's six goals in their 4-0 and 2-1 victories over the opposition in their previous meeting in the qualifying round. After fracturing his nose in the opening match against Austria, he was not deployed as a replacement and was left to watch as Adrien Rabiot senselessly passed to Antoine Griezmann rather than taking a shot himself.

Griezmann then missed the mark by a tiny margin, while Ousmane Dembele and Marcus Thuram also missed. After two games, the French are still without a goal of their own since Maximilian Wöber's own goal gave them the victory over Austria. Next, The Netherlands will play Austria in the last match on Tuesday, while France will play Poland.
