Inter close in on Provedel: Agent confirms advanced talks

Inter are moving closer to securing Ivan Provedel, with negotiations for the Lazio goalkeeper now in a decisive phase. The club is reshaping its goalkeeping department ahead of next season, as Yann Sommer is expected to depart once his contract expires. Provedel has emerged as the leading candidate to replace him, and discussions between the Nerazzurri and Lazio have accelerated in recent days.

The player’s agent, Gianni Rava, confirmed to FcInter1908 that talks are progressing smoothly, saying both sides “are very close” and expressing optimism that the transfer will be finalised soon. For Provedel, born in 1994, the move would carry special significance. A lifelong Inter supporter, he views the opportunity as a dream and is prepared to compete for his place under Cristian Chivu.
