Inter Milan beat Barcelona 1-0

Barcelona had the opportunity to keep the group alive tonight as they travelled to Milan to face Inter Milan after their loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League before the break. Prior to the game, Xavi bravely made three defensive lineup adjustments. Gerard Pique was replaced by Eric Garcia, while Sergi Roberto and Marcos Alonso were chosen for the right and left back positions, accordingly.

In the first few minutes, Barça appeared to be by far the superior team thanks to some incredibly accurate passes and excellent ball control. They quickly lost, though, and the Italian team again had greater opportunities. They finally scored in the last seconds of the first half thanks to a spectacular shot from Hakan Calhanoglu. It seems to take a while to arrive as well.
