Inter Milan dominated Lecce with a 4-0 win

Inter Milan easily defeated Lecce 4-0 on Sunday in Serie A, keeping a nine-point lead at the top of the standings thanks to two goals from captain Lautaro Martinez. The victory kept Inter Milan on track for its 20th domestic championship. Inter, who also had goals from Stefan de Vrij and Davide Frattesi, regained their lead at the top with a game remaining against second-place Juventus, who defeated Frosinone 3-2 earlier on Sunday to accumulate 57 points from 26 games.

The injury-plagued club led by Simone Inzaghi, who is still the only Serie A team without a road loss this year, extended their winning run to ten games across all competitions. In addition to Emil Audero making his Serie A debut for Inter, injuries sidelined Marcus Thuram, Juan Cuadrado, and Francesco Acerbi. Yann Sommer, the team's first-choice goalkeeper, was absent due to sickness.
