Italy advances to Euro 2020 Knockout stage

Italy defeated Switzerland by 3-0 on Wednesday to become the first team to secure a place in the knockout stages of Euro 2020. In another match, Wales took down Turkey by 2-0. The fight for the top seed in Group A is now on and Italy would now take on Wales in the final match of the group. Roberto Mancini's side put on an aggressive show of attacking football and Manuel Locatelli was the hero of the match with two goals.

For Wales Aaron Ramsey and Connor Roberts starred at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Ramsey opened at 42nd minute chipping in Gareth Bale’s pass past Turkey goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir. While Turkey's Burak Yilmaz missed a chance to level the score and Connor Roberts put Wales ahead in injury time. In Group B’s matchup, Russia came out on top of Finland by 1-0.
