Jamal Musiala to sign the biggest contract in Bayern Munich history

As Jamal Musiala nears a contract extension beyond 2026, the German’s new contract would be the biggest in Bayern Munich history with an overall package exceeding €100m.

That’s according to Bild, who reports that like Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane, Musiala’s new salary is expected to exceed €20m per year, but because this would be a five-year contract, it would make the 21-year-old’s new deal the biggest in the club’s history.

Sporting director Max Eberl confirmed that both parties are in talks to extend the player’s contract, with Musiala’s side showing a willingness to extend, but the exact terms remain unclear.

Bild further reports that the only way this new deal would fail would be if they don’t find an agreement on the player’s salary but given that this would be the biggest contract in Bayern history, it shows the depths they’re willing to go to keep their star jewel.
