Jurgen Kloop faced midfield headache

Liverpool's boss, Jurgen Klopp has a lot of injury issues to take on within the build-up to the match. And, Henderson has recovered from a groin problem.

 Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are continuing their recoveries from hamstring and knee injuries. Whereas, Thiago continued to be affected by the leg issue. This was the same problem that he picked up in last month's Merseyside derby. It left Klopp with Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner, Curtis Jones, and Naby Keita as his senior midfield options.

Klopp's biggest affliction will come in defense with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk on the sidelines.
