Juventus have finally kick-started their campaign after a series of losses. Behaving like the Italian champions they once were, Juve secured a 3-2 win over Sampdoria to take 9th place on the table with 8 points. They are still 10 points behind Napoli who are leading the table with an impressive 6 match winning streak in Serie A and enjoy the perfect record of 18 points.
Paulo Dybala opened the score in the 10th minute but soon left the field with an injury which has sidelined him from the Champions League match against Chelsea. Later, Leonardo Bonucci converted a penalty before the first half which was followed by Sampdoria’s comeback with Maya Yoshida’s shot a minute after. In the second half, Manuel Locatelli handed Juve a two-goal lead once again which was challenged by Antonio Candreva but Juventus held on to the one-goal lead to take the much-needed three points.
