Kane crowned Bundesliga’s best after record‑breaking season

Harry Kane has been named Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2025–26, topping the annual Kicker poll with a commanding 272 votes. The Bayern Munich striker finished ahead of teammate Michael Olise, who earned 203 votes, while Stuttgart forward Deniz Undav placed third with 61. The award was determined by 656 members of the German Sports Journalists Association.

Kane’s triumph capped a historic campaign in which he scored an extraordinary 61 goals across 51 competitive matches, shattering league and club records while also claiming the European Golden Shoe. Reflecting on his achievements earlier this week, the England captain described the season as the finest of his career, highlighting both consistency and decisive contributions.

In the women’s category, Bayern celebrated further success as Giulia Gwinn collected the top honour. Her recognition completed a memorable double for the club, underscoring its dominance across both divisions during the 2025–26 season.
