Kepa Arrizabalaga's initial Al-Ittihad bid is rejected by Chelsea

Kepa Arrizabalaga, the goalkeeper for Chelsea, has been linked to leave the West London team this summer. After spending the previous season on loan at Real Madrid, Kepa Arrizabalaga returned to his parent team this summer. The 29-year-old is reportedly willing to sign with Saudi Pro League team Al-Ittihad, and Chelsea has rejected their initial offer for him. Chelsea will face pressure this summer to offload the goalkeeper, who is under contract there until 2025. They won't wish to part with him as a free agent next summer. The former goalie for Athletic Club will want to play regular football again in order to restart his career, thus it would be best for him to permanently leave Chelsea. Blues and Al-Ittihad are now in talks over a long-term deal for the player.
