LaLiga: Atletico Madrid hammered Real Betis 3-0

The host welcomed Real Betis to a rain-soaked Wanda Metropolitano and produced a scintillating performance, securing a well-deserved 3 points. In the 26th minute, Yannick Carrasco scored the first goal of the match with the help of Angel Correa and made score 1-0.

In the second half, Atletico's lead got doubled when in the 63rd minute Betis defender German Pezzella did an own goal in an attempt to clear Antoine Griezmann's corner kick. Luis Suarez was substituted by Joao Felix towards the end of the game, he scored another goal for Atletico in the 80th minute and made it to 3-0. This result helped Atletico Madrid get past Real Betis in the LaLiga table and be in the top four whereas Real Betis is in 5th place.
