LaLiga: Barcelona sealed signing of Toulouse defender Jean Clair Todibo

Jean Clair Todibo will be a new Barcelona player at the end of the season. The club believe all the details have been sealed to sign the 19-year-old centre back from Toulouse on a free transfer. He will come on a four-year deal.

Todibo will join the first team straight away in the summer and work with the squad for the full pre-season. However at the end of August his position will be evaluated. He is young and has lots of potential so Barça may want him to move on loan to get first team experience.

The signing, similar to that of Marlon, is a choice by Eric Abidal and doesn’t exclude Barca from still searching for another centre-back who will go into the first team squad next season.
