Laliga: Rayo Vallecano and Getafe held to 0-0

In Friday night action between Rayo Vallecano and Getafe, Andoni Iraola's team welcomed Getafe across the Spanish city, but neither team was able to make a breakthrough. Nemanja Maksimovi's header was deflected over the bar by Rayo goalie Stole Dimitrievski in the opening moments, giving the visitors the better opportunities. After the restart, Rayo appeared to have an excellent opportunity to take the lead when Isi Palazon's shot struck Fabrizio Angileri in the palm inside the box.

David Soria, however, turned out Oscar Trejo's feeble spot-kick before Radamel Falcao, who had been substituted, had a goal disallowed for offside and later put Soria to the test.
