Lazio outclassed in the 4-0 loss to table toppers Napoli

Lazio left the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona with a beating they would not forget anytime soon after a 4-0 misfortune to Napoli. Mentor Maurizio Sarri's side did not even stand a chance in the match against Luciano Spalletti's Napoli, with the Partenopei two-goal advantage in just under 10 minutes.

Napoli started the match strongly with Piotr Zielinski punishing the other side after just six minutes into the match and soon their lead doubled when Dries Mertens attacked once more from Campania-based side. Lazio was obviously oppressed but their first shot came in the 21st minute on account of star striker Ciro Immobile. later a solid save from Ospina denied Luis Alberto in the 24th moment and Acerbi's header hit the crossbar in the subsequent corner. Later Napoli soon became certain of a win when Mertens scored his second goal and Fabian Ruiz scored the last goal.
