Lazio star Daichi Kamada is reportedly seeking an improved salary

The Japan international's contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, but before May 30th, he can unilaterally activate an automatic renewal for a further three seasons. The 27-year-old intends to wait for this provision to expire before negotiating a new contract that includes a compensation increase, as was previously reported.

The athlete presently makes €3 million annually, but he has his sights set on earning €3.5 million in salary plus bonuses. Kamada's fresh request is motivated by an offer from Crystal Palace, according to Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi). The midfield player and his former Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner are hoping to get back together in South London, according to the Glaziers. The Japanese star is apparently begging to stay at Lazio, and the Premier League's biggest teams have given him the same salary (€3.5 million).
