Leeds United made it into the top half of the table in English Premier League after defeating Crystal Palace 2-0. Jack Harrison's opener gave Leeds an early start, after he deflected a shot in his direction and Patrick Bamford pushed his 12th goal making it his 100th career goal. Leeds has been out of the league for 16 years and could have won with a greater margin. This was their first clean sheet win this year in seven matches.
The other side was lacking depth without top scorer Wilfried Zaha. Leeds later punished Palace for leaving too much space in the penalty area, In the second half, they saw Raphinha's shot being saved by goalkeeper Vicente Guaita and later Bamford turned the rebound from eight yards away.
