Lens finished 4-1 against Lorient

Terem Moffi was the only one who could score for Lorient on Sunday in their 4-1 Ligue 1 defeat to Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis. Christophe Pelissier’s side was coming in strong with three back-to-back league wins to their name and was hoping to extend their streak but hosts would not have it but instead thrashed them with 4-1.

Lens opened the score with Gael Kakuta’s penalty in the 16th minute which found its way at the back of the net swiftly past goalkeeper Matthieu Dreyer. Only 13 minutes later Moffi leveled the score and Lens went in a frenzy thereafter with Jean giving them their one-goal advantage back by scoring in 39th minute and thereafter goals by Arnaud Kalimuendo and Simon Banza put Lens back on the winning side.
