Lewandowski confirms Barcelona exit after four seasons

Robert Lewandowski has officially announced that he will leave FC Barcelona at the end of the season, confirming on social media what had long been expected. The Polish forward brings to a close a four‑year stint in which he scored 118 goals and delivered 21 assists across 191 matches, helping the club win three La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups. Barcelona paid tribute by calling him a legend, thanking him for his impact and professionalism.

In his farewell message, Lewandowski said it was time to move on, expressing pride in completing his mission and gratitude for the affection shown by supporters from the first day. He also thanked President Joan Laporta for the opportunity to experience what he described as the most remarkable chapter of his career. Lewandowski leaves convinced that Barcelona are “back where they belong” and now begins the search for a new destination.
