Lille climbed closer to title by beating Lens

French league leaders finished the match by 3-0 win over Lens on Friday and Lille secured a four-point lead over second-placed Paris Saint-Germain. Burak Yilmaz scored an early penalty and scored once more to put the leaders ahead at the start and took his total league goals to 15 ever since he joined Lille from Istanbul side Besiktas last summer.

PSG has no option but to beat Rennes on Sunday to climb closer to within a point against Lille. Rennes on the other hand is chasing a fifth-place finish to secure a Europa League spot while Lille is chasing their first title in 10 years and need to win the last two matches as well. Canada forward Jonathan David also scored once to make it to the score sheet and hit his 12th goal of the season.
