Liverpool are set to join the race for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae

After a standout season with Napoli in Italy and a strong World Cup performance with South Korea in Qatar, the 26-year-old has been linked with a number of teams. The center-back has also been linked to Tottenham, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, while Manchester United was once supposed to be the front-runner to sign him. But, Liverpool intends to become involved and may be prepared to offer Kim about £60 million, according to Italian outlet Rai, via FourFourTwo.

For the South Korean, who only joined Napoli from Fenerbache last year and is playing in his debut Serie A season, it would be a stunning climb. After transferring to Fenerbahce from Beijing Guoan in 2021, he only played one campaign in Turkey, but he did enough to get a lot of attention.
