"Liverpool are stronger now than in 2018"

The Champions League final is getting closer and closer. Both Liverpool and Real Madrid are preparing to play their most important game of the season, a clash which will take place in Paris on 28th May.

The players are thinking about the huge European game and Toni Kroos has spoken about it. In comments to 'Bild', the German made it clear that this Liverpool team is much stronger than the one back in 2018, which Madrid beat 3-1.

"It was very even until the goalkeeper's error before the 1-0 goal. Then, Liverpool quickly made it 1-1. And then Gareth Bale scored an overhead kick, it wasn't bad at all" the Madrid player said.

"Both teams have progressed since 2018. Liverpool have got more options in attack now than back then. In that section, they've got great players. They will be very good anyway. They are stronger than in 2018".
