Liverpool crushed Newcastle with a 1-0 triumph

A 1-0 win against Newcastle United helped Liverpool to go to the top of the Premier League table. In the match that took place on Saturday, the visitors took home victory. Naby Keita netted a goal midway through the first half for his side. This victory has lifted Liverpool over title rivals Manchester City. 

Eddie Howe would be disappointed after the game’s result as they could have taken something from the game but it was evident that the visitors were too excellent in their game and deserved the victory. In the initial ten minutes of the game, Liverpool was strong, with Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, and Virgil van Dijk all missed chances. On the other hand, Newcastle fell behind after 20 minutes. Newcastle got better in the second half, but it was still tough to break down Liverpool’s midfield and defense.
