Liverpool ends it goal drought with Tottenham win 3-1

Liverpool finds its footing back in the Premier League and puts a stop to their free fall down the table by beating Tottenham Hotspur by 3-1 in Premier League. Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Sadio Mane stuck once for Reds to give them a leg up and fight their way back to the top and keep their title hopes alive. Visitors though lost centre-back Joel Matip to injury during the match.

Liverpool can finally move forward after a four-game goal drought and five without a win and Jürgen Klopp’s men came back stronger with 14 shots taken.  Liverpool is four points adrift of Manchester City but keeps their Champions League hopes alive in the fourth place. Mane was a crucial element in the starting XI first he helped Firmino push in the first before interval later his low curler set up Alexander-Arnold’s strike. He set up the ruled-out goal of Mohamed Salah as well and in the last pushed in his 10th goal of the season in the end to close the night.
