Man Utd and Crystal Palace close to agreeing a deal for Van de Beek

Donny van de Beek left Ajax to join Manchester United in 2020 but has not contributed much in his time with the Premier League club, with little to no playing time, Ralf Rangnick’s arrival did not change his hopeless situation with Red Devils. The 24-year-old has not made a league start this season at Old Trafford and thus has forced the midfielder to move away from the side during the January transfer window.

Crystal Palace has been credited with an interest in the player and they appear to be Van de Beek's next home until his contract comes to an end. His move to Selhurst Park is 'practically finished’. Hopefully, his freeze-out would end under Frenchman Patrick Vieira’s command if he puts in regular game time in the second half of the season, he might even be called to serve the nation during Qatar World Cup.
