Man United have expressed an interest in signing Joao Neves

One of his admirers is United, and according to A Bola, the club has already taken action to demonstrate that they are interested in signing him. According to a different report from O Jogo, Benfica wants to keep Neves on the team until 2025 and isn't in a haste to let him go.

Currently, Neves' contract contains a €120 million release clause. If United wants to sign him next summer, they could have to trigger the clause. Although the Portugal international is capable of playing in central or holding midfield, his best position is at number six. He has averaged 52 passes a game this season, with a 92 percent accuracy rate. Each game, he has won 4.4 duels and 1.5 tackles.
