Red Devils managed to defeat West Ham by 3-1 but suffered a double injury blow when Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial were substituted out during the match due to muscle injury. The Uruguayan striker came in as a substitute against Southampton to score twice during the match and this time he was a central striker against West Ham but could not continue after the first half.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer forced Martial off the pitch in the 62nd minute and replaced him with Jaun Mata. Both the strikers will undergo scans before the Champions League’s clash with RB Leipzig. The first half was in favor of West Ham when Tomas Soucek put them ahead and West Ham defended their lead well enough but in the second half Red Devils picked up momentum when Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and substitute Marcus Rashford scored to put United ahead and grab their fifth consecutive away victory of this season in the Premier League.
