Manchester City are eyeing a move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo

Premier League giants Manchester City are reportedly eyeing a move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as they aim to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season. Instead of pursuing a traditional cash deal, City is considering offering star attacker Julian Alvarez in a potential swap deal, as per reports from Defensa Central. However, Real Madrid may be hesitant to part ways with Rodrygo due to his immense potential and proven quality.

Rodrygo's career took off after an impressive spell at Santos, leading to his €45 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2019. Since then, he has flourished in La Liga, establishing himself as a top-quality attacker. The 23-year-old Brazilian has been in fine form this season, contributing 13 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances. His statistical prowess, including an average of 2.6 shots, 1.4 key passes, and 1.6 dribbles per game, underscores his status as one of the premier offensive talents.
