Manchester City beat Dortmund by 4-2 to advance ahead

Manchester City put an end to their previous quarter-final disappointments and beat Borussia Dortmund by 4-2 on aggregate to advance ahead to the last four stages of the Champions League on Wednesday.

City would now take on Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals and make a case for the quadruple title this season. Phil Foden kept City motivated throughout the match, he had struck a 90th minutes strike in the first leg against Dortmund to take a 2-1 lead against the German side. Dortmund opened early and 17-year-old Jude Bellingham' scored for the team and gave them an advantage in the tie-on away goals till halftime. City later powered through in the second half when Foden scored for his side from 15 minutes to time to give them an advantage and see the team off to the semi-finals.
