Manchester United lost 2-1 to Leicester

The Red Devils made 10 changes before Leicester City’s match as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to change the starting XI and give chances to fringe players to make their mark. Axel Tuanzebe was handed his first league start after January, Amad and Anthony Elanga got the chance to start their first Premier League match. United’s schedule was grueling, to say the least with four matches in eight days.

Solskjaer in order to rest the key players for the Liverpool match made bold changes against Leicester that backfired later. Some of the players did not seize the opportunity they were provided and failed to impress. Brandon Williams failed to seal the first goal and an absent Axel Tuanzebe did not help matters at all. Donny van de Beek could not leave a mark as well, ended with no shots, no chances created, and no inspiration. Leicester took advantage and won by 2-1.
