Marcel Sabitzer scored for RB Leipzig as they beat Arminia by 1-0

Second-placed RB Leipzig took advantage of Arminia Bielefeld to seal three more points and move closer to Bundesliga leaders, Bayern with just one point between them after Leipzig won with Marcel Sabitzer scoring in the second half. Bayern would play against Stuttgart on Saturday and face the reigning champion soon in April.

Leipzig had slipped behind by four points after their draw with Eintracht Frankfurt but against relegation-threatened Bielefeld, they were favored to win the match and dominated the game from the start itself. Arminia goalkeeper Stefan Ortega worked quite hard in denying Leipzig a score early on, he stopped Emil Forsberg from scoring early, later he stopped Forward Christopher Nkunku as well but with 75% possession Leipzig was bound to score against lowly Arminia.
