Mbappé wins Globe Soccer's Best Player of Year Award

Kylian Mbappe was named best player of the year at the European edition of the Globe Soccer Awards in his final year at Paris Saint-Germain.

He received the Player of the Year award from Barcelona's Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, at the luxurious Cala di Volpe hotel on the Costa Smeralda.

Bellingham was not present at the European edition of the Globe Soccer Awards in Sardinia.

"It's an honour to receive this award and I'm sorry I can't be there to collect it in person, but you know I'm preparing for the Champions League final," Bellingham said in a video.

Bellingham dedicated the trophy to both his teammates and the coaching staff for "the faith" they have had in him, as well as to all the Real Madrid fans.
