Mesut Özil ends career at 34

Mesut Özil, one of the greatest legends in the history of Real Madrid and Arsenal, announced on Wednesday the removal of the pitches.

Throughout his career, the German international scored 119 goals in 697 matches. Currently at Turkey's Basaksehir, the 34-year-old midfielder has worn the Meringues' jersey 159 times and the Gunners' jersey 254 times.

Özil also wore the colours of Werder Bremen, Schalke 04 and Fenerbahçe. At the service of the German national team, the midfielder scored 22 goals in 92 matches.
