Milan needs a replacement for Olivier Giroud

Milan needs a replacement for Olivier Giroud, who is joining LAFC. Goncalo Ramos is a possibility, but PSG would need to grant exceptional terms. Giroud reportedly reached an agreement to sign an 18-month deal with Los Angeles FC, an MLS team. As a result, the Rossoneri will need to step up their pursuit of a striker, which was previously unsuccessful last summer. Viktor Gyokeres has been considered as one alternative, but his cost would be prohibitive, and Milan would not be able to afford to compete with teams like Arsenal.

The tabloid La Repubblica reports that Goncalo Ramos, a 23-year-old international player for Portugal, is one of the contenders. After a first loan stint, Paris Saint-Germain paid €65 million to acquire him from Benfica in January. In 30 competitive games this season, he has scored nine goals. Due to that costs, bringing Goncalo Ramos to San Siro would be beyond their means and require at least €50 million in pay.
