Milan open to last-minute deals, could be awaiting more late moves

Since Adriano Galliani, AC Milan has gotten accustomed to making last-minute acquisitions, and there may be more in the current session. Malick Thiaw, a 20-year-old Schalke defender, and Dejan Kulusevski, a Juventus midfielder, are two players about whom negotiations have been made. The directors, on the other hand, can operate in peace and without being pressured because no one at Milanello has given them orders to bring a new face to the club.

Thiaw is valued at €10 million by Schalke and €6 million by Milan in the bargaining posture. Milan, on the other hand, does not appear to be willing to increase their offer to the level. For Kulusevski however, the first roadblock is Juve's valuation of him, which they would insist be placed into an option or obligation to make the sale permanent, and the second is Juve's aversion to bolstering a direct competitor. Things might, though, alter on both fronts.
